What does UK Price Comparison do?

We help you compare prices from different shops. Choose an offer, then visit the retailer’s website to check the details and buy.

Is UK Price Comparison a shop?

No. You buy from the retailer whose website you visit. That retailer takes your payment and handles your order, delivery and any return.

Is UK Price Comparison free to use?

Yes. You can compare prices for free. We may earn commission when you follow a link and place an order that meets the retailer or network’s conditions.

Do you compare prices from every UK shop?

No. We show offers from the retailers and product information available to us. Other shops may have offers we do not list.

Where do I finish buying a product?

On the retailer’s website. Check the model, price, stock and delivery there before you pay. Leaving UK Price Comparison does not place an order.

What if a retailer link does not open?

Try the link again and check your internet connection. If it still fails, use our Contact Us page to send us the page address and retailer name.

How do I report a display problem?

Use our Contact Us page to tell us which page is affected, your device and browser, and what looks wrong. Explain what you expected to see.

How can I ask a question that is not listed?

You can find ways to get in touch on our Contact Us page. If your question is about an order, contact the shop you bought from.

What should I type when looking for a product?

Start with the brand and exact product name. If you know the model number, include it too. This helps you tell similar products apart.

Where can I find a model number?

Look on the product label, packaging or manufacturer’s product page. Copy the whole number, including any letters at the end.

What if I cannot find a product?

Check the spelling and try the model number. We may not have a listing for that product. This does not mean shops have stopped selling it.

Where should I start if I do not know the model?

Browse the relevant product category to narrow down what you need. Compare the size, features and specifications before choosing a model.

Why do similar products have different names?

Retailers may shorten names or describe features differently. Check the model number and specifications rather than relying on the title alone.

How do I report the wrong product picture?

Use the contact details on our Contact Us page. Send the page address and explain which picture looks wrong. Include the model number if you have it.

How do I find the right replacement accessory?

Start with the model of the product you already own. Check the accessory’s list of compatible models before buying, especially for chargers, cases and spare parts.

Can a barcode help me check a product?

Yes. Matching barcodes can help you check whether listings describe the same item. Compare the model, size and pack contents too, as a retailer’s listing may contain a mistake.

How can I tell whether two offers are for the same product?

Compare the full model number, size, colour and storage or capacity. Check the condition and what comes in the box too, as similar names or pictures can hide differences.

How do I compare different sizes?

Use the exact size shown in the retailer’s offer. For clothing, check the size guide; for appliances and furniture, check the measurements and available space.

Is a bundle the same as the product on its own?

No. A bundle may include accessories, extra items or a subscription. Read the contents carefully and compare what you will actually receive.

How do I check whether an item is new or refurbished?

Read the condition stated by the retailer. Look for details about wear, included accessories and any warranty before comparing it with a new item.

Does the product photograph show everything included?

Not always. Pictures may show accessories or styling items that are sold separately. Use the retailer’s written description to check the box contents.

What if the specifications on UK Price Comparison and the retailer differ?

Check the exact model with the retailer before ordering. Use our Contact Us page to send us the page address and the detail that appears incorrect.

How do I compare different pack sizes?

Divide each pack’s price by the number of items, weight or volume it contains. Use the same unit for both offers, then include delivery when comparing what you’ll pay.

How do I check whether an electrical product is suitable for the UK?

Check the retailer’s description for the plug type, power supply and intended country of use. If anything is unclear, ask the retailer before ordering.

How are offers ordered?

We show the cheapest listed price first so you can compare the available offers easily. Check delivery charges and any offer conditions before you buy.

Why is the price different on the retailer’s website?

The price may have changed since we last received it. Check the retailer’s current price and delivery charges before you buy.

What if an offer is out of stock?

Check another available offer or return later. Stock can change, and a listing on UK Price Comparison does not reserve an item for you.

Can you honour an old price?

No. We do not sell the product or set its price. The retailer can tell you whether an offer is still available.

Are discount codes included in the price?

Do not assume a code has already been applied. Check the offer details and any code conditions, then confirm the discount in the retailer’s checkout.

Can an offer require a membership or subscription?

Some offers may have conditions such as membership, a subscription or a first order. Read those conditions and any ongoing cost before buying.

How do I report a price that looks wrong?

Use our Contact Us page to send us the product page address, retailer name and price you saw. A short explanation helps us find the offer.

Does a sale label mean an offer is the cheapest?

No. Another shop may sell the same item for less without calling it a sale. Compare the current prices for the same model and check the final total.

Where do I check delivery charges?

Check the retailer’s delivery information and checkout. Charges may depend on your address, order value or the delivery service you choose.

Will every retailer deliver to my postcode?

Not necessarily. Enter your postcode on the retailer’s website to check availability and any extra charge before placing an order.

Is free delivery always available?

Free delivery may depend on a minimum spend, membership or the items in your basket. Check the retailer’s conditions before counting it as free.

Can I choose click and collect?

Check whether the retailer offers collection for that item and your chosen branch. UK Price Comparison cannot reserve a collection slot or confirm local stock.

Who can confirm a delivery date?

The retailer can confirm the delivery options for your order. Check its estimate before paying, especially if you need the item by a particular date.

Are installation and removal included?

Do not assume they are. For large appliances, check whether installation, connection or removal of an old item costs extra.

What should I include when comparing the total cost?

Include the product price, delivery and any services you need. Apply only discounts you qualify for, and check for ongoing costs such as a subscription.

What should I check before ordering a large item?

Check the retailer’s delivery service and any access requirements. Measure doorways, stairs and the space for the item, and ask whether delivery includes taking it to the room you need.

Who am I buying from after following an offer?

Check the seller’s name on the retailer’s product page and at checkout. On a marketplace, the seller may be a separate business.

What should I check before choosing a retailer?

Read the retailer’s delivery information, returns policy and recent customer reviews. On a marketplace, check who is actually selling the item.

How can I contact a retailer?

Look for contact details on its website or your order confirmation. Use the details for the seller that actually took your order.

Who sets the retailer’s payment options?

The retailer sets the payment options available at checkout. UK Price Comparison does not take your payment or decide whether a payment method is accepted.

Why might a retailer disappear from an offer list?

The offer may have ended, or we may no longer have its details. This alone does not tell you whether the retailer has stock or is still trading.

Does UK Price Comparison handle a retailer’s warranty?

No. Check who provides the warranty and what it covers in the retailer’s offer. Contact the retailer or named warranty provider with questions.

Can I report a concern about a listed retailer?

Yes. Use our Contact Us page to tell us the retailer’s name, page address and what concerns you. For help with an existing order, contact the retailer directly.

How can I get my shop listed?

Visit Get Your Store Listed to see how to apply. We aim to reply within 14 working days, but applying does not guarantee that your shop will be listed.

Where is my order confirmation?

Check the email account you used at the retailer’s checkout, including its spam folder. If you cannot find it, contact the retailer that took your order.

How do I track my parcel?

Use the tracking details in the retailer’s dispatch email or order account. UK Price Comparison does not have access to your delivery tracking.

Who do I contact if my order is late?

Contact the shop you bought from. Have your order number ready so they can check what’s happened.

How do I cancel an order?

Contact the retailer as soon as possible and follow its cancellation process. UK Price Comparison cannot change or cancel an order placed with another business.

How do I return an item?

Follow the retailer’s returns instructions and check the return address before sending anything. Do not send the item to UK Price Comparison.

Who can help with a damaged or incorrect item?

Contact the retailer that sold it to you. Keep your order details and describe the problem; photographs may help the retailer understand what arrived.

Where is my refund?

Ask the retailer for an update on your refund. UK Price Comparison does not process retailer payments or have access to the status of a refund.

What should I do if part of my order is missing?

Check whether the retailer has sent the items separately. If the missing item has not been explained, contact the shop with your order number and tell them what did not arrive.

How can I ask about my personal data?

Use the contact details in our Privacy Policy or GDPR Data page. Explain your question and include only the personal details needed to help with it.

Does the retailer have its own privacy policy?

Yes. When you visit a retailer’s website, check its privacy and cookie information. Its handling of your order information is separate from UK Price Comparison.

What information should I leave out of a help request?

Do not include passwords, full payment card details or bank information. Describe the issue and include only the details needed to understand it.
